About Katie Minger

I was raised in the beautiful state of Maine. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Media Studies and Film Production from Sacred Heart University in 2004. I went back to school to become a teacher because I wanted to work in a job where I was making a difference in the world. I received my Secondary Education Certification in English from West Chester University in 2008.

I currently teach 9th grade General and Honors English, Public Speaking, Creative Writing, and Digital Media at Pottstown High School in Pottstown, PA. I completed my M.Ed. program in Digital Learning and Leading at Lamar University in 2022 and have just begun an M.Ed. program in Curriculum and Instruction at Southeastern Oklahoma State University. When I am not busy working or learning, I enjoy spending time with my husband, our two beautiful little girls, and the rest of our family and friends. I love food, sports, traveling, reading, skiing, film making and being a mom.
